Summer Gasshuku (Retreat) 2009
Saturday, 23rd May 2009
UPDATE: WE ARE GOING!!! 90 applications and counting!!! Final deadline is Monday, June 29th!
Gasshuku, which means “Retreat”, is a great opportunity to experience many things. The weekend involves special training where the entire group will work out together as one or participate in some smaller groups headed by one or more senior instructors covering various material. We also have designated times for evening and sunrise meditation where we are given an opportunity
to focus our minds only on the moment and hopefully emerge with a clarity to reassess where we are in our lives.
The workouts can be rigorous, but at the heart of it all, ultimately it is the connection that we form with one another that makes Gasshuku special for all those who attend. And don’t forget the infamous “Seido games”! Every phase of the weekend will provide you with something new to learn about you and your peers.
Now, more than ever, don’t miss the opportunity to take part in this special weekend and appreciate the uniqueness that this kind of focused training has to offer all aspects of your life.
