Sr. Black Belts: Participate in Go-En by Proposing a Seminar Event

Calling all Senior Seido Black Belts!

Instructors from around the world are being invited to embrace the opportunity to contribute to Go-En by applying to teach a special seminar at Go-En during the day on June 1 - June 2, 2016. Over 50 special seminars will be selected!

Step 1: Review the Instructors Info Sheet for Go-En Special Seminars Program which contains detailed information on the specific types of classes we are seeking within each category.

Step 2: Download and Complete the Go-En Seminar Proposal Application

Step 3: Email Sei Shihan Nancy Lanoue at nlanoue@thousandwaves.org or Kyoshi Robin McColley at robin@cayugaseido.com with your completed application. No submissions will be accepted after the deadline of June 15th.

Category 1: Regular Seido Classes

Applicants must be 3rd Dan and Above in Seido.
We want to give students an opportunity to experience the similarities and slight differences that each teacher brings to his/her transmission of Seido. We imagine that it will feel both very familiar to take a class from someone you don’t usually train with, but just different enough to be fresh, interesting and fun!

Category 2: Thematic Martial Arts / Self-Defense Classes

Applicants must be 3rd Dan and Above in Seido.
We want to deepen Go-En attendees understanding of their own Seido practice as well as of the larger world of martial arts and self-defense with a variety of thematic classes.

Category 3: Classes for Teachers, Program Directors and those who aspire to Teach

Applicants should be Teachers who direct their own Program.
We want to provide appropriate professional development and support to Seido teachers both new and veteran at Go-En.

Category 4: Non-Martial Arts Classes

Applicants may be any Adult Attendee with Appropriate Experience in the Subject of their Proposal.
We are seeking dynamic instructors for a variety of non-martial arts classes.

Review the Instructors Info Sheet for Go-En Special Seminars Program, download and complete the Go-En Seminar Proposal Application, and email Sei Shihan Nancy Lanoue at nlanoue@thousandwaves.org or Kyoshi Robin McColley at robin@cayugaseido.com with your completed application no later than June 15, 2015.
